Our intern in Barcelona
In October, the results of the competition for students “Figure out the FMCG industry” took place, in which the prize were an internship in our company and a trip to Barcelona. The main prize went to Ola, who delighted us with her work on the analysis of a selected market (France, Italy or Norway) in terms of introducing products in the category of cosmetics or snacks for children. Ola joined our marketing department as an intern and surprises us with her fresh ideas every day. The trip to Barcelona was a fantastic escape from everyday duties. Below is a short report.
“I started my stay in Barcelona by visiting the flagship monuments of the city: Sagrada Familia, Hospital of the Holy Cross and Saint Paul and Park Guella, which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is a must have every visit to Barcelona.”
“The main purpose of my trip was to meet the Spanish BD Iberia team. The office is located on one of the main streets – Passeig de Gracia. I was welcomed by Laura Rizescu (Spain branch manager) and her team. Together with the employees I had my morning coffee and talked about it what their daily work looks like and what each employee is responsible for in the company.
“I also found time to listen to the sound of the waves on one of Barcelona’s beaches and take a walk in the Ciutadella park. From each trip, it’s worth bringing a souvenir so that the memories and the magic of this place stay with us for longer. That’s why I visited the famous La Boqueria market.”
“It was my first visit to Barcelona, but it certainly won’t be my last. The city made a great impression on me. I brought souvenirs and wonderful memories with me.”
